CARMONA CITY, Cavite – A retired member of the Philippine Army was arrested for threatening traffic enforcers with a gun after being issued traffic citation tickets on Tuesday, June 25.
Police Regional Office 4A identified the suspect as alias Ulysses.

According to the police report, the suspect was flagged down by two Carmona Traffic Management Office (CARTMO) enforcers along J.M. Loyola St. for reckless driving and disregarding traffic signs.
“He threatened the two CARTMO enforcers by shouting at them while pulling out from his bag one caliber .45 pistol,” Carmona Municipal Police Station (MPS) Chief of Police Lt. Col. Jefferson Ison told the Manila Bulletin.
“Other than the unlicensed firearm and ammunition, upon searching of his bag and body, we found an improvised toother, one empty plastic sachet with a small amount of suspected shabu residues and rolled foil.”
Alias Uly is now under the custody of Carmona MPS and is facing charges for threat and violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
