'Snacks heist': 3 nabbed for stealing truck with P123,000 worth of grocery snacks
CAVITE – Authorities arrested three suspects allegedly involved in stealing a truck loaded with grocery snacks from a marketing company in Imus, Cavite on Sunday, June 23.
A report from the Police Regional Office 4A identified the suspects as "Teoderick," "Gonel," and "Jomar" – a truck driver of the marketing company.
Based on the police report, the truck went missing and was later found in Carmona with the help of a Global Positioning System (GPS) device.
Upon the recovery of the vehicle, however, the products worth P123,000 were nowhere to be found.
A review of the CCTV footage near the area led to the identification and arrest of the truck driver and his two cohorts.
The suspects are now under the custody of the Imus Component City Police Station (CCPS) and are facing carnapping and qualified theft charges.
