QC LGU issues traffic advisory for International Day Against Drug Abuse, Illicit Trafficking 2024 motorcade


The Quezon City government on Tuesday, June 25,  issued a traffic advisory for the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) 2024 motorcade spearheaded by the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) and city’s Anti-Drug Abuse advisory council on Wednesday, June 26.

According to the local government unit (LGU), the event will start at 5:30 a.m. onwards.

Motorists should expect heavy traffic along NIA Road in front of DDB-Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (DDB-PDEA), Internal Road, Miriam Defensor-Santiago Road going to Quezon Avenue (Formerly BIR Road), and Quezon Avenue,

It added that motorists should expect traffic jams along Elliptical Road, Commonwealth Avenue, Tandang Sora (C5), Mactan Street, and Philippine Public Safety College in Barangay Old Balara.

Personnel of the Traffic and Transport Management Department (TTMD) and the Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS) have coordinated to manage the traffic flow in the affected areas.

The city government advised motorists to take alternative routes.
