P1 million shabu seized in Taguig


The Taguig Police seized P1 million worth of suspected shabu from a man who was arrested in a buy-bust operation on June 25. 

Police operatives from the Station Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a buy-bust operation at about 4:45 a.m. in Barangay Upper Bicutan. 

The suspect was identified as alias Abel, 39, who was tagged by the Taguig Police as a high value individual (HVI). He was arrested for alleged violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). .

During the operation, the police confiscated 150 grams of suspected shabu worth P1.02 million placed in six plastic sachets, a digital weighing scale, P1,000 bill used as buy-bust money, and 19 pieces of P1,000 boodle money. . 

The police will file a complaint against the suspect.
