OPM icon Ronnie Liang has disclosed that he has received numerous indecent proposals in the showbiz industry.

"Hindi maiiwasan yun. I admit. Meron talaga," said Ronnie, when asked if he had received indecent proposals in showbiz, during an interview in Quezon City recently.

Asked about the proposals, Ronnie said: "Fame, car, condo at cash. Hindi talaga maiiwasan na may mga ganun na offer sa showbiz."

"Happy ako na nakikilala ako pero hindi ko kilala yung mga tao na may proposals. Nag-iingat lang tao.

"Money and fame will not be here forever. But integrity and respect sa sarili mo and from your colleagues ay madadala mo hanggang sa huli," he said.

Ronnie made the revelation after a video clip of him and former Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque has resurfaced.

In the video, Harry was seen joking with Ronnie.

"Maya-maya, tignan natin kung mapapa-topless natin si Ronnie Liang," said Harry as he laughed.

Then Harry continued and said: "Ako magta-topless ako."

The video clip appears to have originally been broadcast in 2022 as part of Harry's popular online program, The Spox Hour.

Ronnie was a guest on Harry's show when they visited Dinagat Island in July 2022.

While nothing was wrong with the viral clip, some netizens gave malice to it.

"Halata mong may malisya yung gumawa ng clip kasi yung part lang na magkasama kami ang kinunan niya at kinalat," the singer also said. "Sana naman gumawa siya ng mahabang version."

Ronnie, an active military reservist, said that he and his lawyer were still considering whether to file a case against the source of the clip.

Asked about his impressions of Harry, Ronnie said: "He a nice person. A decent government official."

The "Ngiti" singer also shared a short but sweet message to Harry. "Salamat sir." Ronnie is also a licensed pilot.

Harry became a controversial figure again after it was discovered that he had financed the travels of Alberto Rodulfo "AR" De La Serna, his companion for a European trip.

Ronnie said he did not see AR on the set when he taped an online episode with Harry.
