Newborn baby girl abandoned in Batangas

SANTO TOMAS CITY, Batangas – A newborn baby girl was found outside an abandoned house in Barangay Santa Anastacia here on Monday afternoon, June 24.

Resident Marilyn Martinez, 50, discovered the baby.

She reported her find to the city police.

The Women and Children’s desk led by Police Patrolwoman Princess Tapia secured the baby.

The foundling weighing 2.5 kilograms was taken to the lying-in clinic of the City Health Office.
