Iloilo province's most wanted caught

ILOILO CITY – Police nabbed the most wanted person in Iloilo on Tuesday, June 25.

The Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) said that the suspect Boy-Boy, wanted for murder, was arrested in Janiuay town.

The 28-year-old was arrested by the tracker team of the Janiuay Municipal Police Station backed by the 603rd Company under the Regional Mobile Force Battalion-6 of the Police Regional Office-6.

The suspect had been evading police since last year.

IPPO chief Police Col. Bayani Razalan lauded the arrest of the suspect.

“This arrest brings much-needed relief to the victims and their families, reaffirming our dedication to serving and protecting the public,” said Razalan in a statement.

“We will continue our relentless pursuit of all fugitives to ensure that safety, peace, and order prevail,” added Razalan.
