Zamboanga City Tourism Office launches official website

ZAMBOANGA CITY â€“ The Zamboanga City Tourism Office launched its official website on Sunday, June 23.

The website, destinozamboanga.com, contains historical information about Zamboanga City and serves as a guide for domestic and international tourists on the different attractions, cuisine, tourism establishments, accommodations, and other facilities offered here.

It also serves as a booking platform where tourists can book tours to Zamboanga City tourist attractions managed by the local government. These include the famous Santa Cruz Islands and Once Islas.

The website provides a QR code, which can be found in several places at the Zamboanga International Airport, in public transportation and other tourism establishments, as a way of informing and inviting tourists to use the website.

Mayor John Dalipe lauded the City Tourism Office for coming up with a website that will promote Zamboanga City as a leading tourist destination in the country.

The inauguration of the website at the Zamboanga City Hall coincided with the oathtaking of the new members of the Zamboanga Tourism Council and the celebration of the 13th Dia de Fundacion de Chabacano (Chabacano Foundation Day).
