Based on the investigation, a witness saw five suspects and noticed that they were waiting for someone on Pamela Street.
A suspect with the alias Ali warned the witness and told him “umalis ka dito (get out of here).” When the witness left, he heard a successive burst of gunfire coming from the other street and saw the suspects fled towards Kangkungan in Barangay New Lower Bicutan with the weapon used and a bag.
The witness told Taguig Police’s Substation 6 personnel about what he saw and the whereabouts of the suspects.
Ali was arrested by the Taguig Police on June 19. The four other suspects who are at large have been identified by the police as alias Utok Kamar, alias Nasrudin, alias Jaylon and alias Kylie.
The police said the witness executed an affidavit about the shooting incident.
The son of the victim also went to the Taguig Police to execute his affidavit of complaint. He told the police that before the shooting, his father carried a bag containing a laptop, cash and important documents when he left their house.
The victim was transacting with an individual based on conversations in his cell phone before the shooting incident, which will serve as evidence against the suspects, the police said.
