A man was arrested by the police after he was found in possession of a firearm and suspected shabu in Taguig on June 21.
The Taguig Police identified the suspect as alias Mark, 30, who was nabbed in Barangay South Daang Hari.
Prior to his arrest, the police responded to a call from the barangay about a suspicious individual with a firearm in Purok 14 Lakefront.

When the police arrived, they found Mark in possession of a .22-caliber revolver. During frisking, the suspect was also found to have allegedly in possession three plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 8.47 grams with a value of P57,596.
The suspect is under the custody of Taguig Police and will be charged for violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) and Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).
