Man wanted for rape arrested in Laguna

CAMP PACIANO RIZAL, Santa Cruz, Laguna – A man wanted for rape was arrested in Santa Rosa City, Laguna on Saturday, June 22.

The Laguna Police Provincial Office identified the suspect as Ben, a resident of Calamba City, Laguna.

Ben was arrested through a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 101 in Santa Rosa City for violation of Republic Act 8353, the Anti-Rape Law of 1997.

No bail was recommended for his temporary freedom.

Ben, a wanted person on the national level with a P130,000 reward, is in the custody of Santa Rosa City police for processing.
