Three drug suspects were arrested in separate operations conducted by members of the Pasay City police on Friday, June 21.
Pasay City Police Chief, Col. Samuel Pabonita, identified the suspects as alias Boboy, 21, a member of Sputnik gang and a resident of Alfonso Street, Barangay 123, Pasay City; alias Boboy, 61 and Judi, 31, both listed in the police drug watch list.
Pabonita said suspects, Boboy and Judi, who were tagged as street level individuals (SLI) were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by members of the Special Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) at around 1:55 p.m. along Lourdes Street Barangay 5, Pasay City.
He said police operatives were able to confiscate from the suspects 4.72 grams of shabu placed inside nine small heat-sealed transparent sachet amounting to P32,096, a genuine P500 used as buy-bust money and a red coin purse.
The city police chief said the third suspect, Boboy was arrested by members of the Central Park substation who were conducting “Oplan Galugad” at around 5:50 p.m. in front of a Barangay Hall along Alfonso Street, Barangay 123, Pasay City.
Pabonita said the suspect was caught by members of the Central Park substation.
Seized from him were plastic sachets containing 9.05 grams of shabu worth P61,540.
He said the arrested suspects were immediately detained at the police custodial facility after their arrest and were charged for illegal possession of drugs.
