1 dead, 2 injured in Tondo road mishap

An 11-year-old girl died, while two others were injured after being hit by a mini van along westbound of Solis corner 19 de Junio Streets, Gagalangin, Tondo Manila on Saturday, June 22.

The Manila Police District (MPD) identified the suspect as Juan Paolo Crisostomo Bautista.

According to the police report, the victims were standing in front of the suspect's vehicle when suddenly the suspect started driving forward hitting them, a tricycle and a house gate.

The victims were immediately brought to Tondo Medical Hospital for medical treatment.

Authorities said the vehicles involved incurred an undetermined amount of damage.

Two of the female victims aged seven and 24 were injured, while an 11 year old girl was later pronounced dead.

The suspect was brought to custody of MPD for further investigation.
