Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan, together with the members of Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS), led the turnover ceremony to honor the outgoing chief and to support the newly appointed CCPS chief.

The turnover ceremony was held at the Northern Police District (NPD) on Wednesday, June 19.
Police Col. Paul Jady Dadang Doles replaced Police Col. Ruben Lacuesta who had served the CCPS for two years.
Doles is the city government's new partner in public safety and anti-crime campaigns.

Malapitan expressed his gratitude to Lacuesta for his unwavering partnership with the city government.
"It has been a fruitful two years working with Col. Lacuesta. I have nothing but praise for him. The morale of the police force has been high under his leadership these past two years, and we are grateful for his help in combating crime in the city),” he said.
He also pledged full support to the leadership of Doles to ensure the continued effectiveness of existing programs.
"Welcome to the City of Caloocan, Col. Doles! I expect your skill and dedication in leading the CCPS, but if there's one thing I can promise you, it's the full support of the city government). I am looking forward to working with you,” Malapitan said.

The city mayor reaffirmed his commitment to a holistic and fair approach in implementing public safety programs in the city, including addressing criminal elements and ensuring police accountability.
The event was attended by city government officials, officers from the police force, and Northern Police District (NPD) director Brig. Gen. Rizalito Gapas.
