InLife and UnionBank's Bancassurance Powerhouse recognized

One hundred sixteen individuals and 46 branches were the powerhouse that propelled Insular Life (InLife) and UnionBank’s Bancassurance performance in 2023. During the recently held 2023 Club Elite Awards with the theme “Powerhouse,” InLife and UnionBank recognized its sales directors, relationship managers, financial advisors, branches, and regions for successfully promoting insurance solutions to UnionBank clients. 

InLife Chief Marketing Officer and Bancassurance Head Gae L. Martinez said the annual Club Elite Awards celebrates the courage, resilience, and innovation of the Bancassurance team. 

“We are driven by a higher calling—a purpose that centers on making a positive impact on the lives of the people we serve. The InLife – UnionBank partnership is united by the shared purpose to empower our customers to live their best lives, to protect what matters most, and to build a legacy that endures a lifetime,” she said.

InLife and UnionBank’s Bancassurance Powerhouse offers innovative financial solutions such as health and life insurance, investment and retirement plans to help Filipinos attain financial security; as well as group insurance to help businesses take care of their employees and their families.

The 2023 Club Elite Awardees were led by Jo Ann Tolentino from Metro Central, Top Sales Director; Monica Buenaventura from Ortigas CBD, Top Relationship Manager; and Mark Joseph Reyes from Metro Central, Top Financial Advisor. The other Top Sales Directors are Adrian Lim from Metro South, 2nd Place; and Pearlie Lontoc from Makati, 3rd Place.

InLife Executive Chairperson Nina D. Aguas encouraged the achievers to continue striving for excellence and bigger accomplishments. 

“Do your best to be the best that you can be. I wish to encourage everyone to work hard with us to bring us to the top of all Bancassurance players. Together, we will move up the leaderboard,” she said. 

UnionBank’s Retail Banking Center Head Mary Joyce S. Gonzalez expressed UnionBank and InLife’s strong commitment to support the awardees’ winning pursuit in the coming years. 

“Your great achievements have been truly inspiring, bringing forth a very promising outlook for our business, for the road that lies ahead is still full of exciting opportunities that only you have the power to pursue and realize moving forward. Let these achievements further spark your passion and dedication to do your best (and to be the best) for the continued success and growth of our business,” she said.

InLife and UnionBank also recognized its top branch channel regions, namely, Visayas, 1st Place, led by Region Service Operations Officer (RSOO) Gretchen Tagle; Metro Central, 2nd Place, led by RSOO Mike Martinez; and, Metro North, 3rd Place, led by RSOO Malu Taino. The branch champions are: Annapolis Branch (Metro Central Region) for small branch category; Otis Branch (Manila Region) for medium branch category; Bacolod Lacson Branch (Visayas Region) for big branch category; and Greenhills Branch (Metro Central Region), for mega branch category.
