3-year-old boy dies after being hit by van in Tondo

A three-year-old boy died after being hit by a van in Tondo, Manila on Wednesday, June 19.

The Manila Police District (MPD) identified the driver of the van as Garvin Baldesimo, a resident of Tandang Sora, Quezon City.

According to the police report, the victim was crossing the westbound lane of Solis Street corner Bugallon Street at 10:50 a.m. when the van appeared and hit the victim.

The boy sustained body injuries. He was rushed to Ospital ng Tondo were he was declared dead.

Authorities said the incident is still under investigation.
