Partly cloudy weather with possible rain showers to prevail throughout the country — PAGASA
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Sunday, June 2 said the entire archipelago will experience partly cloudy to cloudy weather with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the next 24 hours.
PAGASA said the easterlies, or the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean, will continue to be the dominant weather system in the country.
However, the public is warned that severe thunderstorms may result in flash floods or landslides.
Meanwhile, PAGASA Weather Specialist Grace Castañeda said the tropical cyclone outside the country’s area of responsibility has weakened into a low pressure area.
It is still not expected to have a direct effect on the country, she added.
