TIAONG, Quezon – Three individuals, including a nine-year-old boy, were killed in a collision between two vehicles in Barangay Talisay here before dawn on Sunday, June 2.

Police identified the fatalities as Leo Dizon Montecalbo, 9; Angelou Palacio, 17, and Guillermo Catamco Jr., passengers of a Toyota van with license plates NEV-3133 driven by Emgee Catalla Compuesto.
Investigation said the van overtook a Mitsubishi X-pander with license plates DAU-4774 driven by Francus Ramos, 56, from Barangay Bukal, Pagbilao, Quezon.
However, the van collided with Ramos’ vehicle and then into an oncoming Bicol Isarog bus with license plates NAN-7980 driven by Anthony Sambrano Nazareno, 34, from Catanduanes.
Injured were van passengers Nasser Lominog, 34; Lenie delos Reyes Dizon, 52; Sandy Reyes Flores, 13; Jean Cabacus, 12; Rex Cañete, 27; Eric Atienza, 51, and Roshan Pelayo, 3.
The injured were taken to a hospital.
