Parañaque Rep. Olivarez distributes assistance to 506 AICS beneficiaries

Parañaque City Representative Edwin Olivarez distributed assistance to 506 beneficiaries of  the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) at 88 Square Mall in Barangay San Dionisio on Tuesday, June 18.

Olivarez said the program is a project of the Department of Social Welfare Office (DSWD) in coordination with his office aimed at helping individuals in need of medical and financial assistance.

He said from the 506 beneficiaries, 302 received medical assistance worth P3,000 to P5,000, while 204 residents of District I received the P2,000 financial assistance.

The congressman said Mayor Eric Olivarez also attended the payout and announced that the city government also distributes medical and financial assistance through the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSDWO) to residents who are in need of help. 

The mayor told the beneficiaries they can also visit his office to ask for any assistance through the City Social Amelioration Program (CSAP).
