P400K shabu seized, 2 high-value individuals nabbed in Bacoor buy-bust


CAVITE – Authorities seized P408,000 worth of suspected shabu and arrested two high-value individuals (HVIs) in a buy-bust operation in Bacoor City on Tuesday, June 18.

Bacoor Component City Police Station (CCPS) identified the HVIs as alias Xtian and alias Neng.

The suspects were collared after being caught in the act of selling illegal drugs to a police poseur buyer.

Confiscated from their possession were 60 grams of suspected shabu and a .38 caliber revolver with one live round of ammunition.

The suspects and pieces of evidence were brought to the Provincial Forensic Unit in Imus City for drug dependency examinations and chemical analysis.

Alias Xtian and alias Neng are facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Act.

In a statement, Bacoor CCPS Chief John Paolo V. Carracedo reiterated that the police are leaving no stone unturned in pursuing drug suspects and other criminals to ensure public peace and safety.
