Man shot dead in Quezon

SAN NARCISO, Quezon – A 43-year-old man was shot dead in Sitio Taluto 2, Barangay Villa Aurin, this municipality, on Sunday night, June 16.

Police identified the victim as Jobert Quides, a resident of Sitio Taluto 2.

Investigation said the victim’s wife, Cynthia, heard a gunshot at around 11 p.m. near their house.

Cynthia went out and discovered her husband’s body.

Police found a cartridge case and three cartridges of caliber .45.

Barangay Villa Aurin is a far-flung and mountainous area in this town.

Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
