A truck hit steel railings and road signages after it lost control in Barangay Malinta, Valenzuela City, on Sunday night, June 16.

The city government identified the truck driver as Genario Badillo, 36, a resident of Barangay San Isidro, Nueva Ecija.
Based on the closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from the Alert Center, at around 9:30 p.m., the truck with tailer loaded with H-beam metals was seen traveling northbound along McArthur Highway.
Upon reaching the Malinta traffic light, the truck attempted to make a left turn towards Gov. I. Santiago St., but it lost control and fell onto its right side, hitting steel railings and road signs owned by the city government.
The city’s public information office stated that workers were deployed to remove the metal from the road.
