Rep. Duterte celebrates Father's Day with FPRRD, family

DAVAO CITY – Rep. Paolo “Pulong” Duterte of the first district here celebrated Father’s Day with his father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, in a restaurant here.

“Father’s Day dinner with different Duterte generations! Nothing beats spending quality time with your family,” said Rep. Duterte who expressed profound love for his father during the occasion.

Rep. Duterte also shared the day with his sons, Barangay Buhangin, Davao City Captain Omar Vincent Duterte and Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II with their kids.

Rigo has been representing his father in the activities of the First Congressional District Office.

Rep. Duterte, eldest son of the former President, has been defending his father from detractors who has been criticizing him for being profound and outspoken about several national matters.

The former President’s daughter, Vice President Sara Duterte, did not mention his father in her message during Father’s Day. She thanked all the fathers for molding their children into the country’s future leaders in her statement.
