35 families homeless in Calamba City fire

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna â€“ Thirty-five families were homeless in a fire in Barangay Lingga, this city, on Sunday afternoon, June 16.

The fire started at 2:57 p.m. and reached the third alarm afterwards.

It was declared under control and put out at about 5:30 p.m.

Police secured the area during the fire.

Arson investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fire and damage to property.

No casualty or injuries was reported in the fire.
