Housemaid falls to death in Lucena City

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – A 36-year-old housemaid fell to her death from the fifth floor of her employer's house on Saturday afternoon, June 15, in Barangay Ibabang Dupay, this city.

Police identified the victim as Marites, with a live-in partner, and resident of Sitio Abukaduhan, Barangay Munting Parang, Tagkawayan, Quezon.

Investigation said the fiberglass roof of a hardware store on the fifth floor she was walking on shattered. She plunged to the ground floor of the warehouse and died on the spot.

Police said victim wanted to leave her job for still unknown reason and her way of escaping was through the fifth floor.

Her body was subjected to post-mortem examination by the Lucena City police.
