88 couples say 'I Do' in Parañaque's Kasalang Bayan

A total of 88 couples exchanged their "I Do's" at the 6^th Kasalang Bayan (mass wedding) sponsored by the city government of Parañaque on Thursday, June 13.

Parañaque Mayor Eric Olivarez said the city government offered the “Kasalang Bayan” program to couples living together without marriage.

Olivarez said the 6^th Kasalang Bayan held at the Parañaque City Sports Complex was attended by Congressman Edwin Olivarez, City Hall officials, councilors, and department heads.

The mayor, who officiated the mass wedding, said the event was made possible through the help of the Local Civil Registry.

Olivarez told the newly weds to make God the center of their married life to have a long lasting relationship.

He said trust and respect are also very important in their relationship.
