Fetus found inside QC church

An abandoned fetus was found inside a church in Quezon City on Wednesday night, June 12.

Members of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said that Mercy Reyes, an usherette at Sto. Domingo Parish Church, first smelled a foul odor coming from a shoe box placed inside a paper bag that was left at the candle area of the church at around 6 p.m.

She then found out that the box contains a fetus, prompting her to seek assistance from the police.

Authorities are now conducting a thorough investigation to identify the person who abandoned the fetus.
