P11-M marijuana destroyed in Benguet, Kalinga

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Police seized and destroyed marijuana worth P11.1 million in eradication operations in Benguet and Kalinga from June 11 to 13.

The Benguet Provincial Police Office said they uprooted and burned marijuana plants valued at P3.6 million in Kibungan and Bakun.

In Kibungan, 900 fully grown marijuana plants and 20,000 grams of dried marijuana with a total standard drug price of P2.5 million were discovered.

On the other hand, 5,500 FGMJP with an SDP of P1.1 million were found in Bakun.

The Kalinga PPO uprooted 28,000 FGMJP with an SDP of P5.4 million in Barangay Butbut Proper and 10,500 marijuana plants worth P2.1 million in Barangay Ngibat, all in the town of Tinglayan.
