The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said 28 areas may still experience a heat index that is considered “dangerous” on Saturday, June 15.

PAGASA said a 47 degrees Celsius (°C) heat index may be experienced in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan and Casiguran, Aurora followed by 46°C in Dagupan City, Pangasinan; Aparri, Cagayan; and Baler (Radar), Aurora.
Laoag City, Ilocos Norte; Calayan, Cagayan; ISU Echague, Isabela; Infanta, Quezon; Daet, Camarines Norte; Virac (Synop), Catanduanes; and Catarman, Northern Samar may feel a heat index of 45°C, while Sinait, Ilocos Sur; NVSU Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya; and Masbate City, Masbate may have a heat index of 44°C.

Meanwhile, Bacnotan, La Union; Legazpi City, Albay; and Tacloban City, Leyte may experience a 43°C heat index.
Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Pasay City, Metro Manila; MMSU, Batac, Ilocos Norte; CLSU Muñoz, Nueva Ecija; Abucay, Bataan; Sangley Point, Cavite; Ambulong, Tanauan Batangas; Alabat, Quezon; Juban, Sorsogon; Roxas City, Capiz; and Catbalogan, Samar may have a heat index of 42°C.
