Marcos said this following the signing of the Negros Island Region and the Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act in Malacañan on Thursday, June 13.

In his speech, the President thanked the legislators for passing the two priority measures, saying this act proves that they are supportive of the administration's agenda and are forward-looking, proactive institutions.

However, he asked them to pass the 17 remaining LEDAC-approved priority bills by the end of the year.

"To our fellow workers in both houses of Congress, I implore that before the year ends, that laws which are more inclusive, responsive, and people-centered be passed," he said.

"Our people are eagerly awaiting the passage of the 17 priority bills certified by LEDAC, which, if passed and enacted, will steer our national development and improve the conditions of our fellow countrymen," he added.

According to Marcos, he will discuss these measures with the members of Congress soon.

"We are deep in discussion about that," he said.

"So let's continue to collaborate and work closely on these matters," he added.
