The Office of House Speaker Martin "Mr. Rice" Romualdez shared to reporters on Thursday afternoon, June 13 photos of Romualdez much-anticipated meeting with his upper chamber counterpart, Senate President Francis "Chiz" Escudero.

The meeting, which was ongoing as of this posting, took place at Aguado residence in Malacañang.

"They pledge to enhance connectivity and deepen cooperation in passing the pro-people measures of the Marcos administration," the Speaker's Office said.

Accompanying Romualdez and Escudero to their meeting were their respective top lieutenants--House Majority Leader Mannix Dalipe and Senate Majority Leader Francis Tolentino.
