SPD seize P3M illegal drugs in 7 days

Southern Police District (SPD) Director Brig. Gen. Leon Victor Rosete proudly announced the district's recent achievement in the ongoing fight against illegal drugs with the confiscation of P3-million worth of drugs in just one week.

Rosete said that in demonstrating a steadfast commitment to maintaining law and order, the SPD has carried out a series of operations leading to the arrests and drug seizures.

From June 5 to 11, the SPD conducted 51 operations throughout Southern Metro Manila, resulting in the apprehension of 78 individuals, and in the seizure of substantial quantities of illegal drugs - 459.19 grams of shabu, 27.7 grams of marijuana, and .78 grams of kush, with a combined value of â‚±3,126,986.

The SPD director said the notable success underscores their unwavering commitment to eradicating illegal drugs in the community.

Rosete thanked the community for their support and cooperation in the vital mission of creating a safer place for residents in the southern Metro.
