Resort owner found dead in Batangas

BAUAN, Batangas â€“ A 73-year-old resort owner was found dead in Sitio Gintuan, Barangay Durungao, this town, on Monday morning, June 10.

The victim was identified as Carmen Maranan, owner of Maranan Resort.

The body of Maranan was discovered by a witness who cleaning her house inside the resort.

The witness reported the discovery to the barangay which called the police.

Police found the victim lying on the floor in a pool of blood.

Lawmen are conducting follow-up investigation.
