DOLE holds Independence Day job fair in Pangasinan

ROSALES, Pangasinan – The Department of Labor and Employment-Pangasinan held a jobs fair in a popular mall here to mark Independence Day on June 12.

Four-thousand five hundred vacancies – 1,600 local and 2,900 overseas – were offered during the Kalayaan Job Fair 2024.

Lawyer Amado Gazmin, mediator and arbiter of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-Region 1 (Ilocos), said 16 local and four overseas employers participated in the job fair.

Gazmin said the job fair is in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s goal to provide work and stable life for every Filipino.

The mall, SM City Rosales, and the local government provided entertainment to the people while the job fair was ongoing.
