Italian Republic Day celebration honors enduring friendship in Quezon City

On June 8, 2024, as part of the Italian Republic Day 2024 celebrations, the "Friends are Forever" festive event unfolded in Tandang Sora, Quezon City.

In collaboration with the Servants of Charity in Quezon City, this special gathering was organized to express gratitude and acknowledge the enduring friendship and generous support provided by the Embassy of Italy for the community that for decades has been welcoming, assisting, and fostering the creativity and abilities of children and young adults with disabilities.

Additionally, the event served as a farewell to the esteemed Italian Ambassador Marco Clemente as he began his retirement journey. The event also highlights the friendship between the Italian Embassy and the Quezon City community, hoping that it will endure across distances.

The program showcased the children’s abilities through a talent show, where they sang and danced, delighting the audience. The event also featured a band performance, shared lunch, and gift exchange, fostering camaraderie and appreciation among attendees.
