78 dramas from PH, Korea, Thailand submitted as entries to Seoul Int’l Drama Awards 2024

A total of 78 dramas from the Philippines, South Korea and Thailand have been submitted as entries to the Seoul International Drama Awards 2024. 

The Seoul Drama Awards Organizing Committee previously announced that 346 dramas from 48 countries were submitted for consideration as nominees to this year’s competition.

From the 346 entries, the nominees will be selected and announced in July. 

Six dramas from the Philippines were submitted as entries to the Seoul International Drama Awards 2024. These are: 

Royal Blood - GMA Network Inc. 

Cattleya Killer - ABS-CBN Studios 

Linlang (Deceit) - ABS-CBN Studios 

Road Killers - Viva Communications Inc. 

Love Before Sunrise - GMA Network Inc. 

Safe Skies Archer - Viva Communications Inc.

South Korea

South Korea submitted 40 entries including “Queen of Tears,” “Flex X Cop,” “Wonderful World,” “Revenant,” “Moving,” “A Killer Paradox,” “Chief Detective 1958,” “The Worst of Evil,” “A Shop for Killers” and “Uncle Samsik.” 



There are 32 entries from Thailand including “Last Twilight,” “Enigma,” “Delete,” “Cherry Magic,” “Dead Friend Forever,” “Only Friends,” “Cooking Crush” and “Hidden Agenda.” 


The winners of the Seoul International Drama Awards 2024 will be presented at the awards ceremony on Sept. 25. 

In addition to the main ceremony, various side events with celebrities such as Drama Talk Concert and Screening will be held at Banpo Hangang Park from Sept. 26 to 27. 

The Seoul International Drama Awards is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and Korean channels KBS, MBC, SBS, EBS and CBS.
