The OCV has scheduled a series of anti-rabies vaccinations to reach their target of vaccinating thousands of animals in seven veterinary districts.
The vaccination activity will be held on specified dates from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. from June to September this year.
Dr. Mario Arriola, city veterinarian, said they will distribute 1,000 vials of anti-rabies vaccine per district.
A veterinarian is assigned to handle the city government’s immunization campaign in every district office, Arriola added.
A resident here died in May after being bitten by a rabid dog.
Arriola called on the people to practice responsible pet ownership by supporting the local government’s anti-rabies campaign.
