Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano has padlocked a spa that offered “extra services” and was operating without the necessary business permit on Saturday, June 8.

Rubiano said five therapists, three women and two male, were rescued while a cashier was arrested during the raid conducted at Relaxense Sircon Welness Spa located along F.B. Harrison St., Pasay City.

She said the team, composed of members of the local police under the supervision of Col. Samuel Pabonoita, City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD), and the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) raided the spa after receiving information that aside from massage it also offers “extra services.”

The cashier/maintainer was identified as alias Clarissa, 29, and a resident of Saint Francis St., San Augustine Village, Moonwalk, Parañaque City, while the owner, alias Raymond, was not around during the raid.

The mayor said the raiding team found a naked customer and a therapist having sex during the raid conducted at around 10:30 p.m.
