All is well between "Eat Bulaga" hosts Miles Ocampo and Joey de Leon after his weight gain remark during the birthday celebration of Miles last May.

During the sideline interviews at the media conference for her new TV series "Padyak Princess" at the TV5 Media Center, Mandaluyong City on June 4, Miles cleared the air that there is no bad blood between them.

(Actually, Boss Joey was also affected because why are people like that to me? It's our segment on Eat Bulaga. So I told Boss Joey there was no problem, and the next day, Boss Joey apologized to me)

She also mentioned that not all of the audience understands how the hosts of the "Eat Bulaga" express their love for each other through banter.

(Maybe people just aren't used to it. 'Eat Bulaga' has been around for a few years, and they know we show our love through jokes and laughter. Teasing each other is how we show our love for one another)

Embracing her curves and understanding her condition, Miles admitted that it was hard for her in the first few months after undergoing her surgery due to papillary thyroid cancer last April 2023.

(I can't avoid going through that. I feel like I'm getting tired because I'm always having problems with my weight. I'm getting tired of being affected. Until it gets to the point where I can't do anything about my health, and if someone says I'm fat, it's okay)

Working in the showbiz industry for nearly a decade, Miles couldn't help but feel emotional. She expressed her immense gratitude to TV5 for casting her in the upcoming series "Padyak Princess."

(I am grateful for APT and to director Mike. When they told me about this project, they seemed convinced that I was fit to play the lead, so I asked them if that was their final answer. That's why, I'm very grateful to them for trusting me)
