Hindi na masaya: Robber named 'Saya' arrested in Cainta

A 25-year-old man identified as "Saya" was arrested by the Cainta Municipal Police for robbing a convenience store in Barangay Sto. Domingo, Cainta, Rizal on June 7.

According to the Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO), the area manager of the convenience store noticed that the fire exit door of the establishment was opened and the company deposit/cash fund worth P212,534 placed inside a vault as well as a cellphone were missing.

The store personnel reviewed the store's CCTV footage and saw the suspect committing the crime.

Saya was also positively identified by a 15-year-old boy he tasked to buy cigarettes inside the grocery.

The personnel then sought assistance from the police who conducted a follow-up operation against Saya which led to his arrest.
