Drug sting in Rizal Province yields shabu, marijuana

Some ₱874,240 worth of illegal drugs were seized during a sting operation in Rizal Province.

Rizal Police Provincial Office Director Col. Felipe Maraggun said 105.80 grams of suspected shabu and 1,150 grams of marijuana were confiscated by the police following an overnight police operation in the province from June 7 to 8.

Seventeen persons were arrested during the anti-crime operation  in Taytay, Angono, and Binangonan. 

Police said the anti-illegal drug sting in Angono also resulted in the arrest of a high value individual who also yielded a loaded .45 caliber pistol and a motorbike.

In Binangonan, 1,150 grams of marijuana and two pieces of cartridge devices containing suspected cannabis oil were seized during the police operation.
