The city government of Parañaque announced that a mega job fair will be conducted on Independence Day on June 12.
Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said the mega job fair will be held at the Parañaque City Sports Complex from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Olivarez said the fair, which offers 918 local and 405 overseas jobs, is open to all city residents aged 18 and above.
The city government's Public Employment and Services Office coordinated with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for the holding of the job fair.
The mayor advised job seekers to bring 10 copies of their resume, ballpens, facemasks, and alcohol at the venue.
Olivarez also advised them to scan the QR code posted on the Facebook page of Public Information Office (PIO) for registration.
He told firs time job seekers to get employment requirements, first time job certification, and oath of undertaking signed by their respective barangay chairman or any authorized person in their barangay.
The mayor said the first time job certification and oath of understanding must be presented by the applicants during the job fair.
