5-year-old boy drowns in Pangasinan resort

CALASIAO, Pangasinan â€“ A five-year-old boy drowned in a resort in Barangay Nagsaing here on Sunday, June 9.

Police identified the victim as Christian Sapiera Agsalud, a resident of Barangay Lumbang, this town.

Investigation said the victim's father was having a drinking session with friends and left the area afterwards.

A concerned citizen later on discovered the victim underwater in the swimming pool.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.
