The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) recorded "dangerous" heat indices in 27 areas on Monday, June 10.

The highest heat index of the day recorded by PAGASA was 47 degrees Celsius (°C) in Baler (Radar), Aurora. Followed by 46°C in Virac (Synop), Catanduanes and Roxas City, Capiz.
A 45°C heat index was felt in Sangley Point, Cavite, and Catarman, Northern Samar.
Dagupan City, Pangasinan; CLSU Muñoz, Nueva Ecija; Casiguran, Aurora; Alabat, Quezon; Daet, Camarines Norte; Legazpi City, Albay; and Dipolog, Zamboanga Del Norte a heat index of 44°C was experienced.

A heat index of 43°C was experienced in Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Pasay City, Metro Manila; Bacnotan, La Union; Tuguegarao City, Cagayan; ISU Echague, Isabela; Infanta, Quezon; San Jose, Occidental Mindoro; Virac (Synop), Catanduanes
Masbate City, Masbate; and Siquijor, Siquijor.
Meanwhile, temperatures reached 42°C in Science Garden Quezon City, Metro Manila; Laoag City, Ilocos Norte; Aparri, Cagayan; Iba, Zambales; Ambulong, Tanauan Batangas; Coron, Palawan; and Cuyo, Palawan.
PAGASA classifies a heat index within the danger level if it ranges from 42°C to 51°C.
