Rizal provincial gov't gives P6.6M cash incentives to youth athletes

The Rizal Provincial Government gave over P6.6 million worth of cash as incentives to the student athletes who participated in three competitions and brought honor to their home province. 

Rizal Governor Nina Ricci Ynares personally handed over the cash incentives worth P6,620,000 to the sports achievers in the 2024 Regional Athletics Association Meet (RAAM) held in Laguna Province; 2024 Asia Open Schools Invitational Aquatics Championships (ASI) in Thailand; and 2023 Batang Pinoy-Philippine Youth Games in Manila.

The office of Governor Ynares said the 500 student athletes who are from different schools in the province, brought home a total of 749 medals during the respective sports competitions that they had participated in.
