CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Police seized marijuana and shabu worth P55.5 million and 28 suspected drug pushers were caught in the anti-drug campaign in the Cordillera region from May 1 to 31.

Police Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr., Police Regional Office-Cordillera chief, said 73 anti-illegal drug operations were conducted, resulting in the arrest of 28 individuals, 17 of them were high-value individuals (HVIs) and 11 were street-level individuals (SLIs).
Peredo said 153,380 fully grown marijuana plants, 2,700 marijuana seedlings, 103,814.79 grams of dried marijuana leaves and fruiting tops, 97,700 grams of dried marijuana stalks, 119.77 milliliters of marijuana oil, and 85.74 grams of shabu worth a total of P55.5 million were confiscated.
He lauded operating units for their achievements.
