6 wanted suspects nabbed in Pasay City

Six wanted persons were arrested in separate operations conducted by the Pasay City police on Friday, May 31.

Pasay City's acting police chief, Col. Samuel Pabonita, identified the suspects as alias Manuel, 42, resident of Barangay 183, Villamor, Pasay City; alias Rhodora, 43, resident of Bagong Silang, Baclaran, Parañaque City; alias Aldwin, 46, resident of  Marigold Extension, Rivera Village, Barangay 200, Pasay City; alias Lloyd, resident of P. Manahan Street, Barangay 30, Pasay City, alias Jimuel, 21, resident of Pildera 2, Barangay 194, Pasay City and alias Alwin, 31, resident of Tramo Street, Barangay 100, Pasay City.

Pabonita said suspect, Manuel, who was charged for qualified theft was arrested around 4:30 p.m. by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Elmer Joseph R. Guerzon, of  Pasay City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 114 , Pasay City on May 24, 2024, with bail recommended of P100,000.00.

He said Rhodora who was accused for violation of Republic Act 7610 or Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act, was arrested at around 4:45 p.m.in Baclaran, Parañaque City.

The acting police chief said Rhodora was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jehan Batua Sampao-Hassiman of Pasay RTC Branch 11 on May 6, 2024 with bail recommended of P 100,000.00.

Pabonita said suspect Aldwin who was charged for robbery, was arrested at around 5 p.m. along Rivera Village, Barangay 200, Pasay City.

The suspect was arrested by members of Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS), by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Edwin B. Ramizo of Pasay RTC Branch 114 on January 30, 2017 with recommended bail of P24,000.00.

He said Lloyd, suspect for frustrated homicide, was arrested at around 5 p.m. along P. Manahan Street, Barangay 30, Pasay City by virtue of  warrant of arrest issued by Judge Gidget Rose V. Duque, of Pasay RTC Branch 118 on May 23, 2024 with recommended bail of P 72,000.00.

The city acting police chief said Jimuel was arrested for robbery-snatching by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Moises D. De Castro of Pasay RTC Branch 10 on March 22, 2019 with bail recommended of P100,000.

The sixth wanted person was nabbed by the Pasay city police during the conduct of anti-criminality campaign.

Alwin was arrested at around 6:30 p.m. along D. Jorge Street, Barangay 130, Pasay City.

Pabonita said Alwin was charged for attempted homicide and theft, and was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Rechie N. Ramos-Malabanan Pasay City Municipal Trial Court (MTC), Branch 46 with bail recommended of P36,000.

He said for theft charges, Judge Jesus Mupas of Pasay RTC Branch 112 ordered the arrest of the suspect by virtue of warrant of arrest with recommended bail of P20,000.
