3,155 pass May 2024 certified public accountants licensure exam — PRC

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Saturday, June 1, announced that 3,155 out of 10,421 examinees passed the Certified Public Accountants Licensure Examination (CPALE).

PRC said the top scorer in the said exam are Nicole Agoy Gonzales of the University of the Cordilleras and Hazel Ann Concepcion Sera of Polytechnic University of the Philippines- Sta. Mesa, garnering a 90.83 percent rating.

The examination held on May 26, 27, and 28 was facilitated by the Board of Accountancy in testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga and Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

It was headed by Chairman Noe G. QuiÃ±anola, Vice Chairman Samuel B. Padilla and members Gloria T. Baysa, Thelma S. Ciudadano, Gervacio I. Piator and Maria Teresita Z. Dimaculangan.
