PRO-6 nets P2.25-M shabu in 24 hours

ILOILO CITY – The Police Regional Office-6 seized suspected shabu worth P2.25 million in Western Visayas in 24 hours.

A total of 1,972 grams of shabu were seized from April 29 to May 5.

The PRO-6 said 331 grams of shabu were recovered from nine suspected drug pushers in buy-bust operations from 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, to 6 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8.

PRO-6 chief Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wacky cited this accomplishment.

“Let us maintain the intensity of our campaign by coordinating and collaborating with other law enforcement agencies. Surely, we can achieve greater things if we are working together,” said Wanky.

The Iloilo Police Provincial Office confiscated 208 grams of shabu, followed by the Iloilo City Police Office with 101 grams, and the Bacolod City Police Office and the Negros Occidental Police Office with 22 grams each.

Last week, the PRO-6 seized shabu worth P13 million from 44 drug pushers.
