Pasay LGU to implement road closure on May 15-26

The Pasay City government announced that a road closure will be implemented  from May 15 to 26 along C. Jose and P. Santos Streets to give way to various activities in celebration of Malibay Fiesta and Flores de Maria.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said C. Jose and P. Santos Streets will be closed to traffic from 11:30 a.m. to 12 noon on Maya 15; 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on May 16; 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on May 17, and 8:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. on May 26.

Rubiano advised motorists to avoid the area and look for alternate routes in going to their destination.

She said the Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines Archbishop Charles John Brown will lead the celebration of the Feast of Saint John Nepomuceno in Malibay, Pasay on Thursday, May 16, at 9:00 a.m. 

To show the Filipino's warm hospitality, the city government, Cong. Antonino Calixto, Vice Mayor Ding Del Rosario, the City Council, and department heads will welcome the Papal Nuncio who is also the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps.

Rubiano said the Apostolic Nuncio, as the representative of the Pope in the Philippines, serves as emissary the of the Church and as ambassador of the State.
